Why Solomon’s Porch?
At Solomon's Porch Coffee, we believe exceptional conversations deserve exceptional coffee. That's why we're committed to serving carefully sourced, expertly crafted coffee that is rich in flavor and worthy of slowing down to enjoy. Our name comes from Solomon's Porch, the covered colonnade of the Temple in Jerusalem where people gathered to hear and discuss the things of God. It was there that the apostles boldly proclaimed that Jesus is the Christ (Acts 3–5), and where Jesus Himself declared, "I am the Good Shepherd," revealing that He gives eternal life to His sheep and that no one can snatch them from His hand (John 10).
Inspired by that legacy, Solomon's Porch Coffee exists to be more than a coffee shop. We desire it to be a place where disciples are made, where believers are equipped, where seekers are welcomed, and where conversations over an exceptional cup of coffee naturally lead to the greatest conversation of all—the gospel of Jesus Christ. Throughout the week, we hope these tables become places of encouragement, Bible study, mentoring, prayer, and genuine community.
On Sundays, the coffee bar rests so that the mission can take center stage. Rather than operating as a café, Solomon's Porch becomes a place of worship, where people gather to sing, pray, study God's Word, and celebrate Jesus Christ together. Just as Solomon's Porch in Jerusalem was a place where Christ was proclaimed, our prayer is that this space would continually be filled with people growing as disciples, proclaiming the gospel, and finding true life in the Good Shepherd.
